Hello, I'm Susie Bulloch.
My grilling (and smoking!) career began in 2013 when a neighbor asked me to help write and develop recipes for his company’s new blog, Traeger (yes, THAT Traeger).
While I was totally jazzed about this fun opportunity, the only grill I had access to at the time was a free propane grill I got off Craigslist. I was apprehensive at best, but I agreed to jump on this exciting new opportunity to get my creative juices flowing.
As a teenager, I worked at my parent’s steakhouse in central Utah, so I was somewhat familiar with recipe creation and eating delicious meat. Despite this, my experience with BBQ was beginner at best, and I was practically a newbie with food cooked over a wood fire.
So with little more than a crappy grill and a hefty can-do attitude, I got to work cooking LOTS of BBQ, testing recipes, and learning everything I could about grilling, smoking, and making food that tastes ridiculously good.
